One person has been arrested and his brother booked here for allegedly posting a photograph of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on social media in a derogatory manner, police said on Monday.

The accused and his brother, who runs a hair cutting salon in Banda township, had allegedly uploaded the controversial photo yesterday, Circle Officer Puwayan M S Rawat said.

Police reached the spot and arrested Asid Ansari, one of the two brothers, Rawat said. His brother Asif Ansari managed to escape, he added.

A case has been filed against the two by HYV block president Neeraj Bajpai, the CO added.
