4th Test: When Team India played sepak takraw during practice session

The Indian cricket team indulged in an interesting version of sepak takraw or Malaysian football as it’s more commonly known, during their practice session at the HPCA Stadium here on the eve of the all-important fourth Test against Australia. The sport can be described as a type of volleyball where, however one has to use the feet, head and chest instead of hands. Two teams, of eight members on each side, were divided by a row of chairs for a net and as always the case, India captain Virat Kohli led the way as far as excitement and enthusiasm were concerned. It was nice to see pace spearhead Ishant Sharma get all fired up and yelling at the opposition whenever there was a disputed point. The two-game competition ended 1-1 with smiles all over.
