Talking to mid-day from Cannes, Tandon said, "It gives me and the band immense pride to have represented India on a global platform. Becoming the first-ever artistes from the Indian subcontinent to have performed at the Cannes main stage is an honour. The third gender in India is yet to get its due. Success stories like that of the 6-Pack Band is our effort to bring social integration in India and across the world."
Khan feels their successful musical journey is inspiring for the transgender community, which can encourage others to come out confident. "We want to give our community wings so that we can pursue our dreams. Being at Cannes among such esteemed guests and performing here makes me a proud Indian."
