Alka Kaushal's brush with the law has landed the makers of Santoshi Maa in trouble. The makers are looking for a replacement as her character of a godwoman is integral to the plot.

The TV actress, who featured as Kareena Kapoor Khan's mum in Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015), is allegedly involved in a money laundering case. Alka's mother, Vishwa Mohan Badola, is also said to be involved. They have been sentenced to two years of imprisonment by a court in Sangrur, Punjab.
