Made between 2009 and 2014 the films — Night Noon, Mount Song and Scene 32 — explore the possibilities of creating new meanings or histories during the sharing of an experience.

So, while Night Noon, created in 2011, explores the filmmaker’s thoughts on the planet, as she wanders around the Sonoran Desert; in the second film, Mount Song, Kaul reminds the viewer that no matter where one goes, the places we visit, the people we meet, and the experiences we share, remain engrained in our mind for years to come.

In Scene 32, the third film that is part of the show, Kaul, revisits her birthplace, in the middle of an Indian desert. The film tries to explain the boundaries that should or shouldn’t exist while describing a place or incident.
