Australia's head coach Darren Lehmann will not travel to India for the upcoming five one-day and three T20I matches starting in Chennai next week.

Lehmann is currently in Bangladesh with the team for the Test series, but is expected to fly home to start preparing for the Ashes starting on November 23.
Bowling coach, David Saker will take over from Lehmann for the duration of the tour with Brad Haddin likely to continue as fielding coach. Interestingly, Saker missed the Bangladesh series with Ryan Harris taking over as bowling coach.
Australia had adopted a similar strategy in the corresponding series against India four years ago, with assistant coach Steve Rixon taking over from Lehmann in lead up to the Ashes.
The plan turned into a masterstroke as Lehmann's meticulous planning led to Australia whitewashing England 5-0 to regain the urn.
However, on that occasion Australia did lose the seven-match ODI series to India 3-2, after two matches were washed out.
Meanwhile, former India all-rounder Sridhar Sriram will continue to be part of the Australian coaching set up for the India series as a spin consultant.
