With 'Baadshaho', the team of Ajay, Emraan and filmmaker Milan Luthria will return to the silver screen after a gap of seven years since the release of 'Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai'.

Emraan Hashmi, who has reunited with Ajay Devgn for 'Baadshaho', had earlier said that Ajay Devgn has been one of his best co-actors so far.
Ajay Devgn during the trailer launch said that Milan Luthria had narrated him the script during the filming of 'Kacche Dhaage', which starred Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan and Manisha Koirala. The team also dismissed any rumours of the film having any similarities with 'Indu Sarkar', another film on 1975 Emergency. The team said that 'Baadshaho' is an action-drama and the 'Emergency' is just used as a backdrop.

Besides them, the film also features Esha Gupta and Ileana D'Cruz.
'Baadshaho', which is set against the backdrop of the Emergency period in the country, is produced by Luthria and Bhushan Kumar.
'Baadshaho' marks the fourth collaboration of Luthria with Ajay. They had earlier worked for 'Kachche Dhaage', 'Chori Chori' and 'Once Upon a Time in Mumbai'.
