Bollywood actress Amrita Singh reportedly turned down former co-star Sunny Deol's offer to cast his son Karan Deol and her daughter Sara Ali Khan in their debut vehicle

Amrita Singh snubs Sunny Deol for Sara Ali Khan's debut?

It is a well-known fact that Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan's daughter, Sara Ali Khan is making her Bollywood debut with the film ' Kedarnath' opposite Sushant Singh Rajput and directed by Abhishek Kapoor. Sunny Deol has also announced the Bollywood debut of his son Karan Deol in 'Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas'. However, according to a report in Deccan Chronicle Sunny Deol ardently wished to bring his son Karan and his first co-star Amrita Singh’s daughter Sara together in their maiden appearance.

However, Amrita shot the idea down. Says a source, “Though Amrita denied that Sunny approached her, the fact is Sunny was keen to launch Amrita’s daughter with his son. Amrita and Sunny share a strong bond ever since their first film Betaab. He never expected that she would be reluctant to launch Sara with Karan. When the extremely sensitive Sunny sensed her lack of excitement about the idea, he withdrew the offer. He didn’t give her a chance to refuse.”

Amrita, it seems, was taken up with the idea of her daughter being launched by Karan Johar. This, of course, didn’t happen and Sara will now be seen for the first time with Sushant Singh Rajput in Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath.
