Sushant Singh Rajput was to star in Shekhar Kapur's futuristic drama, Water, but the project did not take off. Seeing the positive response to the recently released trailer of Sushant's next, 'Raabta', the filmmaker got emotional. He tweeted, "I've never met an actor who worked so hard in preparing for a part as you did."

To which SSR replied, "I will be ever obliged to you sir for things I have learned or rather 'unlearned' because of you. Respect." To which Kapur added, "Can't teach anyone to unlearn unless you are willing to let go. That's what makes you a terrific actor (sic). SSR certainly has a reason to cheer.
