At the Cannes Film Festival 2017, Sonam Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Deepika Padukone walked the red carpet for their collaboration with L'Oreal.

According to a report in leading website, L'Oreal had asked the three beauties to shoot for an advertisement for their newly launched lipstick range. While Aishwarya Rai Bachchan gave her nod, Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone made it clear that while they don't mind sharing screen space, they, however, will not shoot together. This left L'Oreal in a fix, and the brand finally decided to shoot with three of them separately, and make it seem like that they have shot it together.

Sonam Kapoor, however, denies this incident and took to her Twitter to rubbish these claims.
She wrote, "guys this is completely fabricated.. I'm dying to know whose pr fed this to you. (sic)"

Sonam Kapoor is known to be quite vocal on several issues and has often used Twitter to clarify her stance when she feels she has been misquoted or when an article has blown up her comments out of proportion.
Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone have been known for their personal and professional rivalry. One of the reasons being the fact that they both have dated Ranbir Kapoor. Sonam and Deepika had appeared on an episode of 'Koffee With Karan' in 2010 and roasted Ranbir Kapoor. An interesting fact is that, Katrina Kaif, who parted ways with Ranbir Kapoor, also has an association with L'Oreal.
