Man Kaur, a 101-year-old Indian runner was denied visa by China to participate in the Asian Masters Athletics Championships. In a telephonic conversation with ANI, Kaur said, 'I was planning to participate in the tournament and have applied for visa. But the embassy rejected my application citing reason that I don't have official invite. I explained that my name is enrolled there, you can check it, but still they denied me the visa.'

Kaur, who started running just eight years ago at the tender age of 93, was preparing herself to compete in the 100m, 200m, shot put and javelin categories in the China Masters in Rugao. Kaur, also dubbed as 'Miracle from Chandigarh' has earned the 100m gold medal in the 100+ category at the World Masters Games in New Zealand in April. Also, earlier this year, she grabbed the 100m gold at the World Masters Games in Auckland.
