Bollywood is abuzz with the latest hot movie on the block – 'SOTY2'. The sequel to Student Of The Year 1, a movie that helped launch Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan in Bollywood, 'SOTY2' has a number of star kids vying of the top spot.

Over the past few weeks the rumor mills were rife with speculation about who the leading lady will be. A number of star kids were thought to have had the role in the bag, including Jhanvi Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan to Disha Patani, but it now seems Karan Johar has made his decision. (Read more)
The film 'Maker' has decided to star Chunky Panday’s daughter Ananya Pandey for the role. While he hasn’t made an official announcement about his choice, it seems more than likely that Ananya will be one of the ladies cast in a leading role.
Tiger Shroff has already been cast as the male lead. SOTY2 is unique in that, unlike 'SOTY', the movie has one leading male actor and two leading ladies.

Ananya has been readying herself for a Bollywood debut and has been taking dancing and acting classes after completing her graduation. She is also under guidance from celebrity trainer Yasmin Karachiwala.
