Indian captain Virat Kohli is all set to take on hosts Sri Lanka in the first of five-match ODI series tomorrow. But there is a huge nostalgic moment for Virat ahead of the series! Here's why...

Virat Kohli posted a photo on his Instagram account that shows him sitting on a chair.. but not just any chair. It is the same one that Kohli was seated on when he played against Sri Lanka in his ODI debut, which was 9 years ago!

Virat Kohli went on to caption the photo saying, 'It all started on this very chair, this very date and this very ground. 9 years today with the @indiancricketteam. What a journey it's been! So grateful.'

Virat Kohli continues to be the world's top-ranked One-day batsman in the latest ICC ODI rankings, released on Friday.

Having 873 points in his kitty, Kohli will have a chance to increase the 12-point lead over second-placed Australian David Warner at the upcoming five-match ODI series against Sri Lanka, starting in Dambulla on Sunday.
