One half of the famous Salsa Twins will guide you to sway to sensuous moves typical of the dance
In some cases, talent comes in twos, and what's even better than having a sibling to match your steps on the stage? Perhaps, a twin to shake a leg with. That's what's in store as Deepak Stephen, one half of the popular dance duo, Salsa Twins, with stellar performances in over 20 countries to boast of, will be in Mumbai for a salsa workshop.

The Cyprus-based twins, Rahul and Deepak Stephen, have been learning the dance form since they were three years old. Over the years, they have experimented with several other styles including hip-hop, traditional Greek dances, Kalaripayattu and martial arts. They are the only Indian duo to reach the semi-finals of Greece's Got Talent. Now, the pair is looking to make its presence felt in India. "Salsa is in its infancy in India. We would like to introduce experimental forms with Latino and Cuban styles," says Deepak, as he recalls doing a Bollywood-Salsa fusion at an event in Greece. The two-hour workshop will introduce participants to the music, rhythm, clave and partner work associated with salsa, he adds.
