A Dombivli woman allegedly murdered her son-in-law during a argument that took place between them on Friday night at the former's residence. She has been arrested and booked for murder.
According to The Indian Express, sources from the Vishnu Nagar police station say, the deceased Ravi Solanki (25), wanted to gain custody of his twin newborn sons.
However, his mother-in-law 52-year-old Anandibai Walande was not keen to allow her grandsons to go with him as she didn't believe he could take better care of them given his unemployed status. Ravi's wife had also left home and was staying with her mother.
Both have quarreled over this issue on several occasions. On the day of the incident, Anandibai pushed Ravi during the tiff, which caused him to fall, after which she proceeded to repeatedly hit him till he fell unconscious.
