Canadian tennis star Eugenie Bouchard reveals John Goehrke, who she met in February, wants to meet her in off season too
Canadian tennis star Eugenie Bouchard's Super Bowl date with John Goehrke at a Brooklyn Nets NBA home game against Milwaukee earlier this year created a huge storm on social media. Ahead of the Hong Kong Open this week, Bouchard revealed that her date wants to try and see her during her off season. "You're not going to believe this, but he texted me this morning. The past couple of days we have been texting. We keep in contact once in a while," Bouchard, 23, told Chinese daily, South China Morning Post on Saturday.

Goehrke, a New England Patriots supporter, won his dream date with Bouchard, thanks to the Patriots' win over the Atlanta Falcons in the Super Bowl 51 in February this year. The Montreal-born blonde predicted an Atlanta triumph.
"It was all positive and a nice story for people, unfortunately it caused a lot of people to have hope as well. I get a lot of questions, pretty much every sporting event in the world now I get requests, 'If they win, we go on a date, if they lose by this score, we go on a date'. I think that'll continue happening for a long time, but it was a very nice experience," she added.
