Expelled Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) legislator Vinod Kumar Binny called off his hunger strike Monday, a few hours after declaring that he would protest against the Delhi government
New Delhi: "We are giving 10 days' time to the Delhi government. If the demands are not met, we will launch a movement against the Aam Aadmi Party," Binny told reporters while also announcing that he has decided to call off his hunger strike.
Earlier, he began his fast at Jantar Mantar in central Delhi, accusing the Delhi government of not implementing the Aam Aadmi Party's pre-poll promises.

Binny, who defeated AK Walia, the health minister in the previous Sheila Dikshit government, from the Laxmi Nagar assembly constituency in east Delhi, was expelled from the party Sunday evening, about 10 days after he turned rebel and aired his grievances to the media.
The AAP's disciplinary committee Sunday terminated even his primary membership of the party.
