Italian tennis player Fabio Fognini admitted that his concentration now is not on the game, but on wife Flavia Pennetta, who is expecting their first child in just a few weeks. Fognini (29), who tied the knot with the 2015 US Open champion Pennetta, said he is excited about becoming a father.

“My first goal is the baby. It’s coming and I can’t wait. I’m really happy at the moment,” he told tennis.com.
Fognini, currently in the third round of the Indian Wells Open, says Pennetta’s health is always priority for him. “I’m away from home for 45 days, but I’m happy because Flavia is happy. She’s healthy and we’re going to have the best present,” said Fognini.

Fognini is having a much better time ever since Pennetta entered his life. The couple, who dated for several years, are one of the sweetest couples on the tennis circuit. “Since my wedding I’ve had a little more stability. It always pays off,’ he had said.
