Situated at SV Road, Goregaon (W), 180 Degrees Grand Sarovar Premiere was a perfect blend of traditional and modern dining. Serving authentic Chinese, Italian, continental and Indian cuisine, 180 Degrees is perfect if you love to explore varied types of food and exotic buffets. With over 180 dishes, the restaurant offers a lavish Sunday brunch and is positioned as the largest buffet in suburban Mumbai.

What's more the restaurant has curated a Friendship Day special menu that set to roll out on August 6, Sunday. So, we decided we'd take a look and see if their menu was all that it was raked up to be. Here's what you can expect:

1. A lavish, sumptuous and unique brunch buffet: With 180 dishes comprising of local and international delicacies, the Sunday brunch buffet will definitely hold your attention; but what makes this place unique is the fact that they have curated innovative desserts and continental delicacies exclusively for Friendship Day. While there are regional favourites like Bengali Fish Curry and Sarson ka Saag at one end, there are Japanese specialties like Cauliflower in Mahala Kai Sauce and Dan Mei Noodles at the other end. We recommend you take the time to peruse the entire spread before you settle down to something you really like.

2. Six live counters to choose from:  Aimed at being the one-stop-shop for every kind of palate, this restaurant has six live counters at your disposal - be it oven fresh pizza or tangy golgappa. Here, you get a chance to pick your favourite dish from the restaurant’s live chaat counter, dosa counter, satay counter, pasta counter, tandoor counter and pizza counter.

3. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian bites offered on one plate: The restaurant helps you feel connected to your friends, especially on a day as special as Friendship Day. They offer both vegetarian and non-vegetarian pasta on the same plate but divided by a long piece of garlic bread. And if you are craving some pizza, there's no need to get two separate plates, the restaurant serves both the varieties of pizza on the same plate that is divided. Not only does this give you a chance to share your meal with your friends, but it's also a great way to relive your school days.

4. Friendship Day special dessert: The restaurant has added Chocolate Gateau cake to its already existing dessert spread as a part of the Friendship Day menu. The cake was supple, subtle, and sugar and chocolate were perfectly blended to lend perfect sweetness. Keeping diet conscious friends in mind, they have also included a sugar-free dessert. They also serve Apple Crumble, Blueberry Crumble and Blueberry Cheesecake, Indian desserts like Malai Sandwich and Moong Daal Halwa Barfi.

5. Discounts and selfie clicking sessions: If you love taking selfies (one is a must on Friendship Day, right?). Well, the restaurant has taken care of that too. And, to make the deal sweeter, they have also thrown in a 25 per cent discount!

6. Pick a dish from a-la carte menu: If the buffet brunch falls short of your expectations, you can choose to order from the a-la-carte menu. We tried the Fish and Chips and it is something you definitely must try. Crispy from outside and tender from inside, the fish was delicately marinated and cooked to perfection.

7. Explore your musical side with karaoke: Combine the great food and ambiance with foot-tapping music that plays in the background, and for those who'd like to give singing a shot, the restaurant also has a karaoke set-up.

A great place to eat, catch up and spend a fun afternoon with your friends, 180 Degrees Grand Sarovar Premiere is an ideal place to hang out this Friendship Day.
