While it may not be easy to hit a good score in this destruction game, Dangerous Zone will definitely have you on the edge

Danger Zone
Rating: 4.5/5
Developer:  Three Fields Entertainment
Platform: PC
Price: Rs 439

After their failed attempt at making golf fun, Dangerous Golf developers, Three Fields Entertainment, have gone back to their Burnout roots with Danger Zone.

Every console gamer from 2004 will have fond memories of the crash mode in Burnout 3. The crash mode is what defined that game and it is essentially what Danger Zone is.

The mode includes well crafted levels where all you have to do is cause the biggest, craziest crash while collecting medals along the way. It may sound easy, but the game is tough and will have you attempting each level over and over again to get the high score. Think of it as a puzzle hidden in explosions to get the highest score possible for your car to move through the chaos.

Be prepared to spend hours on the single level just to achieve that magical and seemingly impossible high score.

The game has a lot of little touches, which will bring a smile to your face - like the ticker board just before you attempt a level has the silliest rules and regulations. The car is a dream to control. There’s a lot of attention to detail that boosts the game in a big way. It feels polished and completed.

There is little to fault in Danger Zone. However, we would have loved a multiplayer mode. We would have also liked more than just 20 levels. Hopefully, in the near future, the developers will update Danger Zone to add things that are missing.

But, for under R500 price tag, this game is a steal.
