Chinese New Year mocktails

Chinese Bat Mocktail


Chinese Bat Mocktail
> 200 ml guava juice (chilled)
> 1 tbsp Tabasco sauce
> 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
> Salt and chilli powder
Method
> Mix guava juice and sauces in a stirrer. Pour into a whiskey glass rimmed with salt and chilli powder. In order to make it a cocktail, add 60 ml of vodka. (Recipe courtesy/CHINA BISTRO)

Kumquat Mojito


Kumquat Mojito
> 6 lime wedges
> 10 to 12 mint leaves
> 2 Kumquat
> 1 tbsp brown sugar
> 50 ml orange juice
> 60 ml Bacardi
Method
> Add all the above ingredients in sequence in a Boston Shaker. Fill it with half a glass of ice. Shake
it well.
> Pour into a Highball glass and top it up with crushed ice. (Recipe courtesy/Ping Pong)

Op-Yum

Op-Yum
> 30 ml whisky
> 15 ml Campari
> 10 ml honey
> 60 ml chamomile tea
> 75 ml orange Juice
Method
> Pour all the ingredients over ice and shake well and then strain with ice in a tall glass. Garnish with an orange slice and cherry pick. (Recipe courtesy/Haochi, Sun n Sand)

Molecular Star

Molecular Star
> 60 ml cranberry juice
> 30 ml vodka
> One leaf of basil
> Salt foam (100 ml water, 1 and a 1/2 tsp sucrose, 1 and a 1/2 tsp salt)
> Pinch of star anise powder
For Salt Foam
> Add all these contents in a bowl and stir with a blender. Mix until the bubbles form. Carefully spoon on top of the drink after the cocktail is prepared.
Method
> Mix the cranberry juice,
30 ml vodka, a pinch of the star anise powder and shake all the ingredients in a shaker.
> Pour it into a martini glass and finish with basil and salt foam. Add a piece of star anise for decoration.

Shangdong Mary

Shandong Mary
> 45 ml Ketel One Vodka
> 60 ml / 4 tbsp tomato juice
> 60 ml / 4 tbsp Tsingtao Beer
> 1 tsp homemade chilli garlic sauce
> 10 gm bird eye chilli
> 4-5 garlic cloves
> 3-4 jumbo red chilli
> 15 ml / 1 tbsp rice vinegar
> Salt to taste
> 1 tsp Aromat seasoning
> 5 ml / 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
> 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
> 1 lemon
> 1 stick celery (for garnish)
For Homemade Garlic Chilli Sauce
> Add bird eye chilli, garlic, jumbo red chilli, rice vinegar, aromat seasoning, Worcestershire sauce and salt in a blender and blend for three minutes.
Method
> Take a high ball glass and add 45 ml of vodka.  
> Add tomato juice, homemade chilli garlic sauce and fresh lime juice.
> Stir everything.
> Top it with Tsingtao beer.
> Garnish with celery stick and lemon wedge. (Recipe courtesy/Li Bai, Palladium Hotel)

Absolute Chinese Cream

Absolute Chinese Cream
> 60 ml Absolut vodka
> 120 ml coconut cream
> 20 ml honey
Method
> Shake all the ingredients in a shaker with ice and pour in an old fashioned glass.
> Add pineapple juice (for taste, optional). (Recipe courtesy/Chao Ban)
