MiD DAY asked Bangalore's chatterati five questions to find out their EQ (Environment Quotient). Their answers are guaranteed to impress, surprise, shock, and amuse you

Here's what we asked them

>>What is the biggest threat facing earth today? Energy crisis, water shortage or loss of species?
>>If left on 20 minutes, which appliance would use the most energy? Air-conditioner, TV, or microwave?
>>How often do you shop or pay bills online? This is an eco-friendly act as it saves paper and fuel.
>>Who are indigenous people? They are tribals or earliest known inhabitants of a region.(Psst... Aamir Khan can't be considered one!)
>>How many aerosol products do you use in a day? Some rupture the ozone layer.
