"That was probably the worst batting performance by RCB (Royal Challengers Bangalore) in the history of the tournament. It hurts to stand here and talk (about it)," fumed Virat Kohli at the post-match presentation at the Eden Gardens on Sunday night.

Using words like "unacceptable", "disgraceful" and "reckless", the skipper left nothing to imagination as he expressed what he thought about his team's batting performance. "There's nothing to review anything about the second half, it was that bad. We need to forget it and move forward. We're a much better team," he added.
A little later into the night, Pawan Negi had the unenviable job of trying to make sense of the dramatic change in fortunes that had RCB slump to the lowest-ever total — 49 — by any team in the IPL and hand Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) a most unlikely win. "It's part of the game; one day you do well and on another nothing goes your way," the RCB spinner said.
"It (batting failure) had nothing to do with the pitch. Both teams bowled well," he remarked.
