Singer Jennifer Lopez said that there is a selfless bond she shares with former baseball star Alex Rodriguez which she hasn't found in any of her previous relationships.

"I'm in a good relationship. I feel like I can say that for the first time —I don't know — maybe ever. And not that I didn't have great relationships, full of love and adventure, but this is the first relationship I've been where I feel like we really make each other better," said Lopez, 48, who features on the October cover of Hola magazine.

She added that the the duo complement each other. "There's really pure, true love. We complement each other. Just wanting to support the other person and make them happy. So there's a different selflessness in the love that's beautiful and different. And healthy!" she said.
The couple started dating earlier this year and have grown comfortable with each other's kids from previous relationships.
Lopez has twins Emme and Max Anthony, nine from ex Marc Anthony and Rodriguez is father to Natasha Rodriguez, 12, and Ella, nine with ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis.
