"This is an ideology of the Sangh where they have no respect for judiciary, media and utter contempt towards the society in general," he said. Singh also said it was ironic that despite Union Minister Arun Jaitley condemning assault on journalists outside a court complex in the national capital, the attack happened again yesterday.

"It was ironical that Arun Jaitley had condemned the incident of attack on media and despite that there was again an attack on them," he said.

The senior Congress leader also said that JNU students union leader Kanhaiya Kumar had not raised any anti-national slogans.

Despite Supreme Court's directions, the committee of senior lawyers appointed by the apex court was abused and bottles and pebbles were thrown at them, he said.

"There has been total ineffectiveness of Delhi police, who, despite photo of alleged attackers being viral, have not made any arrest," Singh added.
