Popular stand-up comedian Kapil Sharma has finally broken his silence on reports of his tiff with Navjot Singh Sidhu and replacing him with Archana Puran Singh on his show 'The Kapil Sharma Show'.

There were rumours that Kapil Sharma had irked close friend Navjot Singh Sidhu. The comedian recently asked Archana Puran Singh to take Navjot Singh's spot on his show, when the latter couldn't make it for shoots.
Singh, who has been ill, is upset with Kapil Sharma for replacing him in two episodes, instead of waiting for him to get better.
Speaking to Pinkvilla, Kapil Sharma said, "There is no truth to this news. This (someone replacing Sidhu) has happened before. For example, when we shot for Sairat episode, Sidhu Sir was not there, even when Jackie Chan came, we called Raveenaji for the episode. I read this news but the truth is that I haven't actually spoken to Sidhu Sir. The news is absolutely false."
Kapil Sharma further added, "About replacing Sidhuji, I can never ever think about this. Whenever I plan to shoot, I always plan it along with Sidhuji because I feel he is lucky for me. I don't know from where this news came, no one confirms it."
