After four years of speculation, Katy Perry confirmed her feud with Taylor Swift during a conversation on Monday night with Late Late Show host James Corden on his popular Carpool Karaoke segment.

Katy claimed Swift started the feud and should be the one to end it. When James asked what went wrong, she replied, "It's about background dancers, it's so crazy. There are three background dancers that went on tour with her.
They asked me before they went and I gave my nod." Katy then explained that they would need it written into their contract that they could leave to join her tour, but they got fired instead. She went on to explain it to Taylor, but she wouldn't speak to her. Even though Taylor wrote a song about her, Katy says she is ready to put things behind her and extend a handshake to her.
