For two years now, funnyman Anuvab Pal and Bollywood actor-director Kunaal Roy Kapoor have been coming out with their podcast, Our Last Week. Though it's hilarious, topical and sparkles with their chemistry, they have now decided to come out of the studio, and face each other on an actual stage at Hard Rock Café, Worli.

Their stand-up act, Alive at 40, delves into what it's like to be a 40-year-old man in contemporary India. So, get ready to hear some rib-tickling material on the delusions a middle-aged Indian man harbours, his desire to be younger and the tragedies associated with it.
Pal, who has done three of these shows solo before, says, "Audiences have said that they like this show for the snacks and the decor, and, sometimes, the comedy." So why did he rope in Kunaal for this one? "I enjoy doing stand-up with Kunaal because the thing about suffering is, it's always better when shared. He will bring his brand of comedy to the show, which I like to describe as boho chic," says Pal.
Who's coming to the show? "People who aren't really committed to either Bandra or South Bombay because the show is in Worli. Actually, I will go further to say people who are afraid of commitment. People who often tick the 'I don't know' option in a survey," he says.
And what must one expect from the comic duo? "Very little. I'm planning to start with a modern dance piece, I'm done with humour," he concludes.
