Eight races have been framed for what could turn out to be a deceptively tricky card on Thursday evening at the Mahalaxmi racetrack. The feature event of the race is the Nadia Mary Homi Wadia Trophy in which ten three-year-olds, four of them making their debut, will line under the eyes of the starter at the five-furlong marker.

The shortest sprint will be decided on pure, raw, early speed, and therefore, fitness in the paddock will be very important. However, going by the preparation of the first-timers, I feel it will be one fron the experienced lot that will gain the day. And though Kramer trained by Malesh Narredu makes a positive jockey switch from S Mosin to Trevor Patel, it could be Lady Sergeant, trained by SS Shah and to be ridden by CS Jodha, who may be able to produce quality speed required to win the event. Lady Sergeant tops on my Dynamic Ratings, and therefore, I have no hesitation to nominate her as a good bet.
