Looking to start, sustain or expand your venture? Learn how to turn pictures into a business at this workshop
It may have been a difficult idea, when Instagram first entered the online space - to warm up to the fact that sharing pictures online could mean more than just flaunting pretty photos of exotic trips and your dog. But it is slowly becoming a tool for business. At a workshop this Saturday, Hitesh Rajwani, who heads Social Samosa, an online publication reporting on social media trends, will share the secrets to achieving your business objectives using Instagram. Accompanying him is digital marketing professional Mrinil Mathur, who advises start-ups and SMEs on their social media marketing policies.

The workshop will cover several modules that would introduce the participants to the intricacies of the platform, how to choose the most profitable option for your enterprise, devise content strategies and leverage Instagram ads for your business. "Even the time at which you post a picture creates a huge difference," explains Rajwani.
Functioning both as a stand-alone and extensional business tool, the application, he says, has something for everyone. Keeping this in mind, the workshop also offers interactive tailor-made activities for its attendees to allow a practical understanding of the platform.
"It's much more than just sharing photos," reminds Rajwani.
