Virender Sehwag is at it again. Middle-order batsman Joe Root has never played against Viru, the 38-year-old has retired from the game also, but he still managed to clean bowl the English cricketer on Friday.

The former explosive opener for India is known for causing laugh riots on Twitter with his witty one-liners and for trolling cricketers -- past and present -- on their birthdays. And the all-rounder was at his wittiest best while wishing Joe Root on Twitter.

Root, who turned 26 on Friday, was trolled by the 'Nawab of Twitter'.

“Happy Birthday Joe Root. All lines in this Root are busy. Top player, hungry player .Knows his roots (sic),” Sehwag tweeted.

Don't get it? Well, for those who don't, here goes: All Indians, who have any form of telecommunication, have had to hear this, "Is route ki sabhi linein vyasth hai, kripaya thodi der baad dial kare". Which basically means: "All channels in this route are busy, please try after some time." Sehwag puns on this oft-quoted line to suggest that while Joe's at the crease he can't be beaten.

The commentator also suggests that the birthday boy 'knows his root'.

Just a day ago, Sehwag had posted a video to wish former Pakistan off-spinner Saqlain Mushtaq on his 40th birthday.

“A very happy birthday dear @Saqlain_Mushtaq . Stay blessed and Thank you for the memories. Enjoying watching this in loop,” he tweeted along with a video of him hitting Mushtaq for a six to get to his first Test triple century at Multan, the first by an Indian as well.

Well, with many experts in England suggesting that Root replace Alastair Cook as England skipper in Tests, it's good if he stayed 'Rooted'.
