Lionel Messi has quite a charitable side off the field besides his goal-scoring ability on it. Last week, the Lionel Messi Foundation helped build 20 classrooms for schools in Syria.

The initiative helped over 1,600 children who are trapped in the horrible civil war, to access education. Over 60% of children in the Syrian schools have been displaced since the conflict began in 2011.
