What caught our attention was the presence of singer Kamaal Khan among the performers. Best remembered for the O O Jaane Jaana track from Pyar Kiya Toh Darna Kya (1998), the singer vanished from the scene as he was the key witness in Khan's 2002 hit-and-run case and avoided court summons.
Considered to be Sallu's close buddy, he rendered the Radio Bajaiyo track in Tubelight. He also performed at an awards show in New York last month. Sallu is keen to put his career back on track. But will Kamaal ever wing his way to Mumbai?
