With the Goods and Service Tax (GST) reforms in place, the prices of most of Maruti cars have dropped by 3 per cent. The Vitara Brezza, which was earlier priced at Rs 7.26 - 9.82 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), gets a price cut of up to Rs 48,000. The drop in price varies from city to city. Currently, the Vitara Brezza is only offered with a 1.3-litre diesel motor which produces 90PS of power and 200Nm of torque. This engine is coupled to a 5-Speed manual transmission. Currently, there is no option of a petrol engine or an automatic transmission to choose from. However, you do get an impressive mileage of 24.3 kmpl from the diesel engine. To make the Vitara Brezza more tempting, the automaker offers features like touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Connectivity, automatic climate control and push button start/stop.
The Vitara Brezza competes with the Ford Ecosport, Mahindra Nuvo Sport and the Honda WR-V.
