In a video that has gone viral across various social media platforms, the simian can be seen entering the shop on the pretext of reclaiming the fruit it threw in the store.

“The monkey threw a guava inside and entered the jewellery store. Though we threw the fruit back at the monkey, it still entered the shop.

It roamed for almost 20 minutes before opening one of the drawers at the cash counter and ran away with R10,000,” the shop owner said.
