Armaan Vardhan struck for the Bandra outfit in the first minute itself after converting a free kick that went like a bullet into the net. In the 39th minute, striker Krish Bajaj, with a vital assist from Arav Monga, scored the next goal to make it 2-0. However, the Dadar outfit came from behind in the very next minute to score their only goal, courtesy Cornelius Rodrigues.
In another match, Hitanshu Shah's lone goal ensured a 1-0 victory for Sacred Heart School (Santacruz) over Thakur Vidya Mandir (Kandivli). This match, which was earlier scheduled to be held tomorrow, was officiated by only two referees. Before the match, MSSA were left red-faced when referee Alok turned down the school body's request to officiate the match.
