Looking for zero calories food? Or are you searching for a gluten- and dairy-free dessert? Or is it that you are craving for spicy non-vegetarian delicacy? Then our list of Mumbai restaurants will take you to the perfect addresses...

Mumbai Food: From Amai to Theory, the top 3 restaurant picks of the week

Top 3 restaurant picks of the week

1. Amai: The Mumbai eatery offers raw, vegan, gluten- and dairy-free, and doesn't include preservatives. In other words, it's a menu for guilt-free indulgence. Triple Chocolate Ganache Cake, Mandarin Dark Chocolate Parfait, Matcha Green Tea Cake, Ginger Lime Cheesecake are unconventional desserts that one can savour at the joint. The idea of raw desserts, presented at this eatery, is appealing, especially when you can indulge in them without worrying about consuming harmful ingredients. Nevertheless, given the steep price, we are not sure if going raw would make for an affordable lifestyle addition.

2. The Bandra Project: This is an all-day community bar and kitchen that blends music with food in a great note. The 3,000 sq ft space, with chequered tiles, colonial-style marble tables, a bar illustrated with designs of quaint bungalows and geometric high-rises steal your eyes in the first go. The food menu has European dishes, many of which are tweaked with East Indian influences. Baked baby potatoes, Ribs With East Indian Spices, Ragi Pancakes, Spicy And Sweet Aubergine are perfectly prepared to satiate your taste buds.
Where: Ground floor, HSBC Bank Building, Pali Road, Bandra West

3. Theory: This place is known for vegetarian-friendly zero-carb meal-in-a-bowl. Mediterranean Veg Bowl is where blushing pink beet hummus meets a chickpea tabbouleh along with pickled vegetables and falafel. This gets doused with lashings of sour cream and it's ready to be chowed down.
Where: Kamala Mills, Lower Parel.
