Mumbai's Tanush Kotian claimed six wickets to help the hosts beat Gujarat by six wickets in the Vinoo Mankad under-19 match at the MCA-BKC ground yesterday. Put in to bat, the Gujarat batsmen managed only 184 for nine in 50 overs. They fell to off-spinner Kotian's terrific spell in which he picked up six wickets for 31 runs off 10 overs. Gujarat's Hemang Patel showed some spark by scoring 65 not out off 70 balls, an innings which included seven fours and two sixes.

Chasing a target of 185, Mumbai's opening batsman Divyansh Saxena laid the perfect foundation with a run-a-ball 69 which included 13 fours. He added 67 for the first wicket with Karan Shah (20). Saxena had scored 77 and 69 against Baroda and Saurashtra respectively. Satyalaksh Jain (26*) and Atharva Ankolekar (30*) were the unbeaten batsmen when Mumbai reached their target in 34.2 overs. Mumbai had lost to Baroda in their opening game on Monday.
