Sans variety, the music album of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen isn't that a 'possession'

Robots, action, middling content sliced with bland alternative rock, punk music with layers of orchestral bombast that don't let you fall off your chair is what describes the music album of director Michael Bay's science fiction sequel Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

The album withu00a0 twelve tracks is unwrapped by the signature song of the movie ''New Divide'' by Linkin' Park.

The second track ''21 Guns'' by American rock trio Green Day provides a bit of relief with its soft, glum ballad, coupled with strong guitar chorus and appealing voice of Billie Joe Armstrong. ''Never Say Never'' by The Fray has a similar overtone. Also, Cavo's track "Let It Go" fills up the slot, trying hard to provide a bit of emotional impact.u00a0

With subsequent tracks in the album, one finds it difficult to break the monotony, and it only adds up to the arresting assault on your senses. Though Nickelback's "Burn It To The Ground" and The Used's "Burning Down The House" brings in some fire to the tracks, "Real World" by The All-American Rejects is hard to ignore with the background score perfect for a racy action-packed chase sequence. "The Reason" fame band Hoobastank didn't live upto the expectations and could only jive noise more than music with "I Don't Think I Love You Anymore".

"Almost Easy" by Avenge Sevefold stands true to its title and is rightly slotted at the end as it helps the listener to easily switch off the nerve-wrecking track, and eject the disc before he/she can heave his last breath.
