ISL club owners along with Nita Ambani, Founder and Chairperson, Indian Super League met in Mumbai on Thursday ahead of the kick off of season 3 to discuss India’s inclusive football growth

Indian Super League (ISL) Founding Chairperson Nita Ambani on Thursday met all eight ISL club owners along with host broadcaster Star Sports in Mumbai ahead of the League’s 2016 season kick-off.


The teams were represented by Dr Anil Sharma (Delhi Dynamos FC), Akshay Tandon (FC Goa), Kapil Wadhawan (FC Pune City), Ranbir Kapoor (Mumbai City FC), Abhishek Bachchan (Chennaiyin FC), John Abraham (NorthEast United FC), Sanjiv Goenka (Atletico de Kolkata), Sanjay Gupta (Star India) and N Prasad (Kerala Blasters FC).


The group discussed plans of developing football through Young Champs and Youth Sports, ISL’s Vision, Goal, Organisation and Ethics and Fair Play. Club Owners presented their respective club’s plan on development of football in their region and discussed the path towards inclusive growth of football in the country.
