We tried Kashmiri Kitchen's home delivery and were left disappointed

The packages had arrived from Kashmiri Kitchen, a new home delivery place supplying 'authentic' (as per their claims) Kashmiri food to houses in south Delhi and also for parties across National Capital Region. A nice aroma wafted as soon as I started opening one package after another.

The order comprised Goshtaba ((pounded mutton balls cooked in curd, flavoured with dried mint powder), Kokur (chicken) biryani, Badam korma (chicken cooked in creamy almond gravy), Mirchi korma (mutton cooked in hot chilli gravy) and the quintessential Firni. Sad to say, the aroma didn't quite match up to the taste. The Goshtaba was so sour that I almost doubted that it had gone stale, the Badam korma was good but the biryani was very bland and the quantity was also quite bad (not good if you want to share).

The Mirchi korma lacked flavour and the pieces were quite bony. There was only so much meat one could extract out of it. The Firni was decent, but not enough to save the day. Before you place an order, remember that this place is expensive (unlike your neighbourhood takeaways) and the quantities are very bad.
