Oops! Did David Warner win the 'PSL' title? Umar Akmal thinks so...

David Warner led from the front to inspire Sunrisers Hyderabad to their maiden IPL title on Sunday.

Monday saw Twitter praising Warner and his men, but Pakistan cricketer Umar Akmal became the target in Twitterverse for congratulating the explosive Australian opener for winning the 'Pakistan Super League (PSL)'.

People on the micro-blogging site went balistic at the discarded Pakistan batsman for mixing up PSL and IPL.

What makes matters worse is that Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper Warner has never played in PSL, whose inaugural edition was held earlier this year.

Akmal though immediately admitted his faux pas and rectified it, deleting the erroneous one. But not before we grabbed a screenshot for readers.

The PCB Chairman Shaharyar Khan had recently lamented about the absence of educated players in the national team and said that it was one of the reasons for its recent poor performance.

Talking to the media, Khan had said at that time that presently only Misbah-ul-Haq was a proper graduate in the team. "There is no graduate player in the team right now except for Misbah and the absence of educated players in the team is a primary reason for its recent downfall," he said.

Akmal is surely proving Shaharyar Khan right.
