Indian medium pacer RP Singh and wife Devanshi Popat were blessed with a baby girl on Tuesday.

The 31-year-old lanky left-arm pacer shared the news on Twitter and also revealed the name to his friends and fans. “No feeling comes remotely close to this. @DevanshiS_ and I have been blessed with a baby girl - Ira Aarya Singh,” he tweeted.
RP, part of Gujarat’s victorious Ranji Trophy team this season, was flooded with congratulatory messages from fellow cricketers like Irfan Pathan and Manoj Tiwari.
RP married Devanshi on December 1, 2012. He joins a select group of Indian cricketers who have turned proud fathers recently. The list includes Irfan Pathan who was blessed with a baby boy in December 2016, and Harbhajan Singh who had a baby girl 'Hinaya Heer Plaha' in July 2016.
