Rajkummar Rao is busy promoting his film 'Shaadi Main Zaroor Aana' these days. But in the meanwhile, he is taking time out to celebrate Diwali with his close friends and family. The National award winning actor says that Diwali has always been his favourite festival since childhood. Since he used to stay in a joint family in Gurgaon,his family used to celebrate Diwali together. He adds that it is quite emotional for him to reminisce about those days. Rajkumar explains that he used to enjoy decorating the house. "The best part of Diwali was sweet.I used to always have my eyes on the sweets and eat as much as I could.We used to burn firecrackers too, but nowadays knowing how it impacts the environment and increases pollution, I avoid bursting crackers.


Rajkumar and his long-time partner Patralekha have recently worked in an advertisement for Diwali. That ad has received lots of praise. Rajkummar points out that even in the real life, Patralekha is not a demanding girlfriend. She knows life in a very good way and if he doesn't get time, then she makes all the purchases herself and he does not have to worry about Diwali shopping.


Rajkummar Rao added that this Diwali is working for both he and Patralekha. He is shooting for 'Fanney Khan' and Patralekha also has her own line-up of projects.
