Bollywood filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma got thrashed, both online and offline, for his controversial tweets on International Women's Day tweet on Sunny Leone and calling Tiger Shroff a 'bikini babe'. But that hasn't stopped the 54-year-old director and he spraked outrage by spewing some more insensitive comments on the occasion of Holi.

The 'Sarkar' director decided to court controversy again by taking a dig at Indians for celebrating Holi. He posted, "More Foolishness of festivals is celebrating victory over problems we not even aware of and ignoring both our present problems and solutions." He added, "I doubt even 1 in 120 crore Indians knows a reason why Holi is celebrated but they all do become Bhang needs no reason ..Mera Bharat Mahaan."

The "Satya' filmmaker also tweeted, "Greatest thing about Holi is that this is only legitimate day in entire year men and women can see and touch each other in wet clothes." He then posted, '"I really don't know which god killed which ranks have that we celebrating Holi but I thank Rakshas for creating such wonderfully sexy moments."

Ram Gopal Varma, however, later deleted some of the tweets. A screenshot of RGV's deleted tweets though are doing the rounds on social media.

He alluded to Tiger Shroff as 'bikini babe'.

Ram Gopal Varma also posted a tweet where he said, "only gays pose like this and not men." The director, however, later deleted the tweet. Here's a screenshot of the tweet:

He called Rajinikanth a 'bad looker' and invited the wrath of 'Thalaiva' fans.

Ram Gopal Varma took to Twitter to express his displeasure and in a series of tweets ranted about India's performance at Rio 2016.
