Ultimate Fighting Champion (UFC) star Gegard Mousasi believes former bantamweight champion, Ronda Rousey, need not prolong her mixed martial arts career anymore, as she has enough money in her bank account.

American Rousey, who boasts an estimated net worth of $12 million, was the first female to win an Olympic medal for her country in judo. The much publicised former UFC women's bantamweight champion, however recently lost a second consecutive fight at UFC 207 in December against Amanda Nunes. Besides fighting, she's also starred in Hollywood films like The Expendables 3, Entourage and Furious 7.

While speaking to American portal, Today, during a visit to promote UFC Fight Night in Singapore recently, Mousasi was asked about Rousey, who announced her engagement to heavyweight Travis Browne.

"I think she has a lot of money. She doesn't need to fight," said Mousasi adding that Rousey was built up in the media to be something she wasn't.

"She has the mentality of a fighter, but does not have the skill of a stand-up fighter. How can the media make her one of the best fighters when she can't even kick or punch? That's like Serena Williams without a backhand," he added.
