Several rumours are floating around Samsung’s upcoming flagship smartphone Galaxy S8. Samsung initially decided to price the high-end device quite expensively, but a new leak by a Chinese tipster stated a new pricing for the upcoming model.

According to the leak, the 128GB variant of Samsung Galaxy S8 will be hitting the Chinese and Korean markets. On the other hand, the 64GB and 128GB variants will be available in the Indian and Asian markets. Samsung will also launch 4GB/64GB variant of the device for European and other markets.

As of now, Galaxy S8 is expected to come in two different sizes- the 5.8-inch S8 and 6.2-inch S8 Plus respectively. Though Galaxy S8 will be a comparatively expensive smartphone than the Galaxy S7, but still it appears to be cheaper that the 128 GB versions of Google Pixel and iPhone 7.

In India, the 64GB option of Samsung Galaxy S8 will cost approximately Rs 59,000 (CNY 6,088) and the one with 128GB of internal storage will cost approximately Rs 63,000 (CNY 6,488). Also, the 5.8-inch version of the smart phone is expected to be cheaper than the 6.2-inch version. However, Samsung is yet to announce the official price in the Indian market. The mobile giant may also launch the 4GB RAM version in India, the price of which is yet to be announced.

After the Samsung Galaxy S7 fiasco, the Korean mobile maker has done several modifications in the S8 model. It will have a curved Super AMOLED displays, 8GB RAM, Android 7.0 Nougat and Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. Also, Galaxy S8 will have its own AI-powered assistant 'Bixby'. The premium smartphone from Samsung will launch on March 29.
