The 10-minute English play, The Shrew That Cannot Be Tamed, presents a twist in the climax of the classic, The Taming of the Shrew. The last scene of the play shows the protagonist Kate portraying a girl of 2016. The play, To Be Or Not To Be, also twists the end. Portia, who is now single and has been unsuccessful in saving her husband Bassanio, bumps into three young men — Romeo, Shylock and Caesar — who try and win her heart. The Merchant of Venice will feature the courtroom scene set in today’s times.
