The fight between ‘Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain!’ actress Shilpa Shinde and the show's producer Benaifer Kohli has taken a legal course now.

CINTAA (Cine and TV Artistes Association), FWICE (Federation of Western Indian Cine Employees) and IFTPC (Indian Film and Television Producers Council) tried reasoning with Shilpa Shinde, who plays the character of Angoori Bhabhi on the show.

The tussle started when she walked out of the show. The producer, Benaifer Kohli, sent her a legal notice to come back to work within 48 hours or be ready to pay up Rs 10 crore as compensation. In spite of all the talk, Shilpa insisted that she wanted to move on as she was all set to start off on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. However, the producers of Kapil’s show withdrew their offer after seeing all this.

Rumours of a ban began leading to complete havoc, making Shilpa even more livid. The actress has now decided to take the legal course and sue Benaifer for mentally torturing her. The actress has filed a NC on March 29 at Bangur Nagar police station in Mumbai.

With the NC, the repeated calls have certainly stopped but the actress claims that harassment hasn’t.

In the meanwhile, Benaifer has also decided to go the legal way and file a case against Shilpa. CINTAA continues to insist that both the parties sit and sort their issues out, without going the legal way just yet.
