"With films like 'Gangs of Wasseypur', 'Vicky Donor' and 'Shanghai' doing well at the box-office, it seems that the star system in Bollywood will come to a screeching halt.

Small budget films like 'Vicky Donor' and 'Kahaani' had a better screen play and profit than any other star's film. "Creativity is the most important thing. With these kind of films, we are heading towards a golden era where director and script are heroes and audience are superpower," Johar said while sharing his views on 'Celebrating 100 years of Indian Cinema - The Road Ahead' at Centenary Film Festival here.

Johar alongwith Dibakar Banerjee and Zoya Akhtar also promoted their upcoming Indian anthology film "Bombay Talkies" here. Anurag Kashyap was not present at the event. "Bombay Talkies" will have a gala screening at the 66th Cannes Film Festival, where India is the guest country this year. u00a0
